Rental of Casa Bonita gives guests access to the many other facilities on the Porto Dona Maria resort.
This includes:
- a large communal salt-water swimming pool and separate children’s pool;
- the poolside 'Cabana do Pescador' (Fisherman's Hut) which serves drinks, light meals and a variety of dishes, both inside the cafe and on the outside terraces every day up to 7pm in the evening throughout the summer, closing at the end of September for the winter;
- “L’Escargot” restaurant, featuring fine Algarve dining with fresh local fish dishes as well as other tasty meat dishes, beautifully prepared starters and desserts; and
- the 'Mercearia' restaurant located near reception, which is open all year round from 8am to 10pm in the summer and 9am to 6pm in the winter, and also offers a takeaway menu and a small grocery/delicatessen.
Porto Dona Maria are currently constructing a Golf Academy, including a 9 hole course, which is anticipated to be open in mid-2008.
