As you enter the villa on the mezzanine level directly ahead are a few stairs decorated with a beautiful wrought bannister leading to the ground floor. On this level is the spacious, light and airy lounge with comfortable leather sofas and armchairs providing seating for 8 people. The lounge has a 32” plasma screen television with cable TV providing a range of UK & international channels, a hi-fi, PlayStation (which can be used as a DVD player) & a glass fronted wood burning stove. Double width patio doors open onto a terrace overlooking the pool area with truly magnificent sea views. On this terrace guests can relax in the shade from the mid-day sun whilst enjoying the view or watching the kids play in the large 10m x 4m swimming pool. The lounge is open plan to the dining room which features an impressive dining table with seating for 8 people. It has access to another outdoor shaded terrace with a further table seating 8 for alfresco dining. All of the outdoor terraces are lit to enable you to make the most of your time outdoors in the pleasant Algarve climate. The hall leads to the fabulous modern well-equipped kitchen with large American style fridge/freezer, integrated microwave & oven, dishwasher and gas burner hob with built in cherry wood units providing excellent storage. The kitchen has all appliances you would expect including double toaster, coffee maker, kettle, crockery & cutlery for 16 guests and enough saucepans and ovenware to cater for meals for a large group. The kitchen has direct access through double patio doors to its own sheltered terrace and the BBQ area. Views from all the outdoor terraces are stunning, and all of the rooms make the most of them with full length patio doors and additional windows making sure you can appreciate the location no matter where you are. Also on this level are the utility room comprising washing machine, tumble drier, iron, ironing board & other cleaning equipment; and a separate cloakroom comprising toilet and wash hand basin. Each of the living rooms is equipped with its own individually remote controlled air-conditioning units, although the design of the house means that the rooms stay perfectly cool without the need for air-conditioning for most of the year. |
